Dearkristina

Read on the Google blog today about this tool, never saw it before but many people translating especially languages left-right into right-left for example may be helped by this.

Google = Brutus? Evil time? Psychopath-corporation time for Google? Time will tell.

Maybe some of these Google Chrome extensions will make your life easier?

Wow, Android is bigger than OS X as OS (in the U.S). I was not aware. Curious about this event, let’s see what they present.

100+ Google Tricks, how many did you know about already?

Lucky UK people.

No Swedish keyboard. I am disappointed.

I have a brilliant idea for filtering emails in Gmail. Why don’t Google filter emails depending on what language they are in? Google translate could be implemented and resolve many problems. (I have not seen this available, even though it makes perfect sense!)

I came up with the idea when sorting out what filters to use, and it is possible to apply a label that fits with a language but not to effectively sort it. Tell me if I’m wrong.

Why is it so difficult to give feedback and ideas to Google? Is their website not user friendly or am I really daft not to find this sort of contact information?

Introduction to the Google Ad Auction (via GoogleBusiness)

If you want to use Google to get more visitors for your website, there is a tool called Google adwords. It works with keywords.

This video will explain more.

Welcome to the tablet jungle.

To begin with Apple, they will supply the option of their iPad starting at $499 from April 3rd. I was attracted to the design and the package of the product initially. The question is, do I want to buy anything at all from Apple after seeing that they are allowing children to work for their increased profit? As The Telegraph are mentioning, Nokia is also a part of this filthy business.

Apple has admitted guilt for child labor merely, purely egoistic as there was no other option, one could think. In ethical terms, they have admitted guilt, accepted the situation and they have taken action to prevent such business to occur in the future. One could argue that continuing to use the same factories would be somewhat contradictory.

I will change my question to: Should I consider buying an iPad, or can I live without the ethically questionable dilemma that such a choice would frame me in? I am not sure.

Moving on to HP slate. I will miss OS X, iPhone OS or Apple software altogether. But OK, I know Windows OS. I know HP. They make good hardware. Some rumors claim HP slate will be more expensive. Some say I have to wait until September. That is a long time.

Google’s alternative “HTC Google tablet PC does not even have a proper ETA. I like Google, they have saved my time many times. I use as many of their products as I possibly can without feeling the lack of privacy being too much of a concern. I am very practical, many people are. I do not hesitate in that matter. But will they put up with a fair battle in regards to design?

There are more options to be considered, and other factors such as the environmental factor - which alternative is greenest? For now I will leave the field open to comments: What tablet option would you choose, and why?

Seriously? How did this happen?

5427 Google searches - supported by Google web history

I like Google. 5427 Google searches so far. And then I am not even counting work or school time.

What is Google web history? basically it is a calendar keeping track of your searches - keywords and time of the day.

Why I have chosen to activate it? Well, with privacy concerns in mind, if I don’t, I am sure Google will still save this history without my knowledge. Now I can at least have a good laugh now and again + keep track of how much I really use this revolutionary tool.

Solution to previous query: using developer mode (for now).
